Protect yourself from scams and fraud by messaging the seller and keeping all conversations within the email thread.
If you’re buying an item and don’t receive it within the agreed time, send us a message with your concerns and we’ll help you out. If a seller doesn’t honor their obligations, we will work with both parties to resolve the issue. In the event that we are not able to resolve the issue, we will refund your payment.
After Purchasing A Costume
Sellers are required to transfer ownership of their costumes to you within 24 to 48 hours of purchase. A temporary hold will be placed on your payment until a transfer of ownership condition has been met. If the seller fails to do so, please contact us for assistance.
Transfer of a costume includes but is not limited to:
- Using The Mas Band Online Portal, Sellers Can Designate The Buyer To Pick Up The Costume.
- A Seller May Also Provide The Buyer With A Colored Copy Of His Or Her Picture ID Accompanied By A Letter Stating They Have Transferred The Costume To The Newly Acquired Owner.
- After Payment, A Seller Can Send The Buyer The Login Info To The Mas Band’s Online Portal So Buyers Can Log In And Change The Email, Password, And Personal Information To Pay Off The Balance Owed On The Costume.
- A seller must also inform The Mas Band Of Their Intention To Sell The Costume.
A Buyer Should Also Contact The Mas Band To Verify That The Seller Is Transferring Ownership Or Allowing You To Pick Up The Costume.
