It’s fried chickpeas with pepper and salt. During the 1950s and 1960s, it was a popular movie theater snack in Trinidad & Tobago. Especially during the Christmas season, it is a staple. The product is manufactured in a facility that also processes peanuts. There are three ingredients: Channa (Chick Peas or Garbanzos), Pepper, and Vegetable Oil.
